About Us
SayFrancais is based in the Deux-Sevres region of the Poitou Charente and was set-up by me, Rachel Bourner, to assist other English-speakers in France.
I was born and brought up in France before moving to the UK where I was educated and lived up until 2006. I have spent some part of every year in France so I have a sound knowledge of the culture and systems and I am able to work closely with you to make sure that you feel comfortable in your new environment as quickly as possible.
My background is secretarial and administrative which involved translation and interpretation for multinational companies in the UK.
My husband and I moved to France in 2006 with our two daughters because amongst other things we enjoy the pace and quality of life here. It is however, very different to the UK and now that we have been through the transition and have adapted to our new lives in France, I’d like to help you do the same.
